Fomo Beats Pump.fun in Daily Solana Revenue as Social Trading Gains Momentum

Fomo Takes the Daily Revenue Lead From Pump.fun

Fomo, a social-focused cryptocurrency trading platform, briefly moved ahead of memecoin launchpad Pump.fun in daily revenue on Solana, highlighting the growing competition among consumer-facing crypto applications.

According to DeFiLlama's Solana revenue data, Fomo generated $1.76 million in revenue on Friday, compared with approximately $1.1 million for Pump.fun. The result gave Fomo the daily lead despite Pump.fun maintaining a substantial advantage when measured over a longer period.

The latest DeFiLlama data also tracks Fomo as a trading application and Pump.fun as a launchpad, meaning the two platforms generate revenue through different types of activity. Fomo's model centers on trading, while Pump.fun's revenue is closely connected to its memecoin launch and trading ecosystem.

Pump.fun Still Dominates Over 30 Days

Fomo's daily lead does not yet translate into broader revenue dominance.

The figures in the supplied report show Pump.fun generated more than $57 million over the previous 30 days, compared with approximately $17.6 million for Fomo. That means Pump.fun's longer-term revenue remains more than three times Fomo's despite Fomo's stronger single-day performance.

DeFiLlama's current protocol data similarly shows a significant gap between the two platforms over longer periods. Its Solana rankings track both applications separately and identify Fomo as a trading app and Pump.fun as a launchpad.

The difference illustrates why a single day's revenue should not be interpreted as a change in the overall market position of either platform. Daily activity can fluctuate considerably depending on trading volumes, token launches, market sentiment and user activity.

Fomo Combines Crypto Trading With Social Features

Fomo takes a different approach from traditional crypto exchanges and memecoin launchpads by combining trading functionality with social features.

The platform allows users to see other traders' activity, creating an experience that resembles a social-media feed alongside cryptocurrency trading. This social layer is designed to make on-chain markets more accessible and allow users to discover what other traders are buying and selling.

Fomo describes itself as an on-chain trading application designed to simplify access to blockchain-based markets. In its June Series B announcement, the company said more than 625,000 people had joined the platform, with more than $4 billion in trading volume and over 110 million unique social interactions.

DeFiLlama currently describes Fomo Wallet as a social trading application offering self-custodial, gasless token swaps on mobile, alongside social feeds and copy-trading features.

$75 Million Series B Values Fomo at $550 Million

Fomo's revenue growth comes shortly after the company raised significant venture capital.

In June 2026, Fomo announced a $75 million Series B funding round led by Index Ventures, with participation from Union Square Ventures and existing investor Benchmark. The round valued the company at approximately $550 million, according to the supplied report.

Index Ventures confirmed the investment and described Fomo as a platform focused on simplifying access to on-chain markets. The company said the application had already surpassed $4 billion in trading volume and 600,000 users at the time of the investment announcement.

Fomo also reported that more than 68,000 users made their first cryptocurrency purchase through the platform using Apple Pay, representing approximately $25 million in transaction volume. That figure highlights the company's focus on reducing the barriers faced by people entering cryptocurrency markets for the first time.

Fomo Expands Beyond Spot Crypto Trading

The platform has also expanded its product range beyond conventional spot cryptocurrency trading.

On June 11, Fomo launched perpetual futures contracts powered by Hyperliquid for users outside the United States. Perpetual futures are derivatives that allow traders to take long or short positions without an expiration date, generally using leverage.

Fomo's expansion into perpetuals gives the platform another source of trading activity beyond its spot-market business. The company's current materials also describe perpetual products as being provided through third-party protocols rather than Fomo operating the underlying derivatives exchange itself.

The move places Fomo closer to the broader trend of trading platforms combining spot markets, derivatives and social features within a single interface.

Referral Rewards Have Become Another Growth Tool

Fomo has also used referral incentives to encourage users to bring additional traders onto the platform.

The company said on June 2 that it had paid users more than $2 million in referral fees. Referral programs can help trading applications expand their user base by rewarding existing users for bringing new participants to the platform.

Combined with social feeds, trader activity and copy-trading features, the referral model gives Fomo multiple mechanisms for encouraging user engagement rather than relying solely on traditional exchange-style trading interfaces.

Fomo's Daily Win Highlights Solana's Competitive App Economy

Fomo's $1.76 million daily revenue figure is notable because it temporarily placed the social trading platform ahead of one of Solana's most recognizable crypto applications.

Pump.fun remains a major force in the Solana ecosystem, particularly through its memecoin launchpad and associated trading products. DeFiLlama's data continues to show a substantial revenue advantage for Pump.fun over longer measurement periods.

Fomo, meanwhile, is pursuing a broader trading model that combines social discovery, spot trading and derivatives. Its recent funding round, growing user base and expansion into perpetual futures indicate that the company is attempting to build a wider consumer trading platform rather than focusing exclusively on memecoin launches.

The daily revenue reversal therefore provides an interesting snapshot of changing activity on Solana. It does not mean Fomo has overtaken Pump.fun overall, but it shows that social trading apps can generate substantial fee revenue when trading activity accelerates.

As Solana's application ecosystem continues to mature, the competition is increasingly extending beyond decentralized exchanges and token launchpads. Consumer-focused trading platforms such as Fomo are attempting to capture users by combining the trading experience with social discovery, referrals and easier access to on-chain markets.
